Voting is the greatest honor I think an American above 18 who does not fight in the military gets. I really enjoy using my ability to vote because I think I had an incredibly huge part in the forming of Georgia's Government for the next few years. I know that may seem a little ridiculous to some but hey, I am voting because I want to make a difference. All I know is that the election I think went good for a lot of candidates, but not good to others as well. (Thank you Paul for the John Madden statement.) I must say though that i do not understand how it takes so long for electronic polls to get loaded up so we can see the winning candidate in any of the offices that are being run for. Also, the importance of voting to our country is this, we as Americans are given that freedom because the government wants us to play a part in our own lives and have the ability to make a difference. Also, the election means democracy for our country and it means that the people that are going to be in office are the one's that the people will think will do the best job in leading them in the best way possible. So...next time an election comes along...GO AND VOTE!!!
